HRT PIPE SLEEPER

In response to client requests, Red River and Koenders developed the Hybrid Railway Tie as an additional form of pipeline support in 2019. The HRT is very similar to our popular Hybrid Pipe Sleeper and provides the same high-level of performance, but is a direct substitute to using wooden or composite railway ties in your pipeline support design.

Just like the Hybrid Pipe Sleeper, the HRT consists of a steel skeleton encapsulated in a heavy-duty, high-impact, and UV-resistant HDPE shell. The steel allows for the support of large loads and the HDPE shell provides for durability and longevity as the HRT also has an expected life of 25+ years.

Our standard design is a 10" wide by 10" tall pipe sleeper that is to a custom length specified by the client. We have provided designs of up to 9'6" long, but there are really no limits on the dimensions.

The HRT is available with or without a saddle and is fully customizable.
